Legislative investigation substantiates harassment claims against former Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra

A legislative investigation released to the Times today found former Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra (D-Pacoima), who resigned due to sexual misconduct allegations three months ago, likely made unwanted advances toward three female staffers when he was working as a chief of staff.

A separate probe found that Gerardo Guzman, husband of L.A. City Councilwoman Nury Martinez, likely engaged in inappropriate behavior. He was fired from his Assembly job as a result.
